Matchbox Wonders

In the olden days, toy cars as small as a child’s palm are great wonders and have marked its existence. Cheap ones were made of plastic, palely colored with black plastic tires and the a little bit costly ones were made of tin, gleaming with paint with sleek black tires that hold its ground when pulled back and screeches away when let go. Matchbox toy cars don’t get destroyed easily (unless smashed on with a heavy object) and once a child has one, there will be no more end to wanting another design or model. A unique baby shower gift indeed particularly when the unborn child is known to be male.
