Do fuel additives actually work? Based on my personal experience I have to say yes. My 2006 Saturn Ion used to average 10 or 11 kms per liter until I started using Bi-Tron Fuel Conditioner in combination with BiTron Engine Treatment. My fuel economy went up to 12 to 15 kms per liter. Not bad. I have since purchased a 2008 Honda Element which I am currently getting a baseline measurement for comparison purposes. After 5000 km I will “Bi-Tronize” the Element with the Engine Treatment, Fuel Conditioner and other lubricating offerings.
