Cars with No Driver

Cars are all important in everyones life-time, you literally cannot do anything in this day and age unless you have a beneficial mode of transport, but life is so hectic that these days people genuinely do not have the push or impulse to drive. The is why there has been a drop in dispatch of used cars and new vehicles. People are opting to get public channel.

Well this could definatley be changing in the next few years, technology is advancing at an expodential rate and new methods are constantly coming to light. One of these modes of carry is the driverless vehicles. Heathrow airport in Greater london have of late proclaimed that they will be moving forwards with introducing a new cab that will be able to bring passengers along Terminal 5.

The programme as a whole has cost around £25 million to create, the clever technology uses laser sensor guidance to keep it on track. The creator has indicated that the system could be used in city centres.

But what will this mean to the economy? I have to say that we are already straight in the middle of one of the largest credit crisis’s that the world have ever seen, surely something like this will literally make thousand if not millions of people jobless. I mean people that drive a bus or train would literally have no where to go.

We acknowledge the technology is there to manage this on a big scale, I mean we have satellite piloting systems that know our real time positioning, we have intelligent automobile sensors. All that is left is satellite communication over the internet to allow the vehicles to drive away and I mean this is literally not too far off.

In the next few years you may not even have to have a driving licence.
