Another tip which can be very useful for the maintenance of your car is have it go through regular tuneups.Tuneups are essential because they can detect any underlying problems and they can also optimize the performance of your car.  Plus you replace important parts of your car. Customers of my San Diego smog check shop who fail their smog test I always tell them to do this.  A lot of times the reason for them failing their smog test was because of not doing tune ups.

The third tip I woud give is to always maintain the brakes of your car. Brakes are so important not just because they get expensive to replace.  They are important because they are your last line of defense for safety.Brakes that are maintained can keep and would keep you away from harm provided you drive safely while malfunctioning brakes can kill you and other people.  I tell my customers of my San Diego brakes shop to always keep their brake fluid good.
